ALS Association's Home Health Care Initiative - Honoring Peter FratesPete Frates grew up in Beverly, MA, attended St. John’s Prep and was an athlete and honor roll student. In 2012, at the age of 27, he was diagnosed with ALS.

Pete Frates became a household name when the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge put together by his family raised more than $250 million.

Recently, the Frates family shared that the medical costs of caring for Pete have become unsustainable, costing over $90,000 per month and not covered by insurance.

The Frates family teamed up with Rob Griffin and the ALS Association to create the Home Health Care Initiative with a goal to raise $1 million to help families in similar situations. Auto Body Clinic is pleased to have contributed to this initiative as part of our Giving Back program.
