Auto Body Manager/Appraiser

Auto Body Clinic in Beverly, MA is seeking a full-time Auto Body Manager/Appraiser to lead our team and increase company effectiveness by recruiting, hiring, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling.
Essential Job Functions
- Manager Responsibilities
- Responsible to increase employee's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, hiring, orienting, training, coaching, counseling. This also may require both disciplining and terminating employees.
- Communicate values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing and encouraging educational opportunities with support and collaboration from leadership.
- Employee Development and Training by maintaining professional and technical knowledge, attending educational training, and attending SOP Training sessions when available.
- Follow, enforce, and promote company policies, SOP's, and corporate vision consistently by using Company Core Values, Honesty, Integrity and Respect.
- Create and maintain an atmosphere in which employees willingly produce at maximum capacity

Auto Body Technician

Auto Body Clinic in Beverly, MA is seeking a full-time Auto Body Technician to work as part of a dedicated team to be responsible for repairs to the exterior of damaged vehicles. Responsibilities include dismantling of vehicles, repair of vehicle and final assembly of vehicle.
Essential Job Functions

- Communicates effectively in English both orally and in writing/presentations

- Attention to detail and a desire to do things right the first time.
Requirements
- Co-Operation program, High School or Vocational Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience doing frame and major body repairs
- Experience with frame repairs, mig welding and electronic measurements needed
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs

Auto Damage Assessment Technician

AUTO BODY CLINIC is currently seeking to fill the following position in our Beverly, MA location. We have three (3) positions available
AUTO DAMAGE ASSESSMENT TECHNICIANS
Auto Body Clinic is a full-service specialist in collision and glass repairs for cars, trucks and heavy equipment in both personal vehicles and company fleets of any size.

This position works with cars and small trucks as they come into the shop, disassembling the entire damage area to prepare for the Shop Appraiser and Parts Manager to evaluate damage. Once the vehicle is dismantled, the Auto Damage Assessment Tech then goes through a detailed review with the Shop Appraiser and Parts Manager, separating parts into damaged and non- damaged categories.
Experience
Vocational school or light mechanical background. The successful candidate needs to be mechanically oriented and enjoy working with autos and trucks.

- Team player – willing to work as part of team and pitch in to help overall goals of shop
- Anticipates issues, take initiative to work proactively to resolve complex problems
- Strong oral communicator
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Certifications
Once employed, techs will attend I-Car classes (online courses are conveniently available 24/7 and can be taken from any location that has internet access) and start developing an education base in collision repair.
Requirements
- High School Education or Equivalent Education
- Valid Driver's License

Detailer
- Location: Beverly Location
- Type: Full-time
Auto Body Clinic is seeking a Detailer to work as part of our dedicated Beverly, MA team. The Detailer will be responsible for cleaning customer vehicles to ensure our customers receive their vehicles back in pristine condition.
Essential Job Functions
- Drive vehicle in and out of the bay for detailing;
- De-nib painted areas, buff and polish;
- Do any requested touch-up painting requested by management;
- Throw out any trash in the vehicle;
- Vacuum rugs, seats, trunk or rear of vehicle;
- Wipe down interior seats, dash and door panels;
- Make sure all old parts are removed from vehicle (check with Shop Manager too see if any parts need to be kept for Insurance claim);
- Clean jambs for dust, dirt or compound;
- Clean windows (inside & outside), steel wool for window overspray when needed;
- Wash exterior of vehicle and dry;
- Wash and shine wheel; dress tires;
- Re-stripe vehicle when applicable;
- Checklist: exterior, interior and basic functions of vehicle.
